"She really stayed pretty much to herself...never was one to come out and play. But she loved standing at Tommy's feet, asking him to pick her up! :) She loved her daddy!!! I can see her standing there, with her head craned back, looking up for her treats - she LOVED raisins and craisins!!! She was always the last one to get up in the mornings...then this little white face would come out all alone and ask for her craisins :)"

Subject: Sandee greets LittleWhiteGirl, ...

Hi all
I sorta took a break from da computer yesterday and didn't get a chance to write up da greetings. So some of these are a little late although da greetings were done on time.

A little girl came in today. She said her name waz LittleWhite Girl. I looked up Marcel and he waz glad to be here for her. So she waz greeted also by Marcel who introduced himself as her brother. He asked a lot of questions about home and basically got caught up on all da gossip. They then went off to da Otter Slide to play and get a little wet. They were soon sliding and splashing and generally having a lot of fun. She said to tell her mommy she luved her and to send bunches of kisses.

"Although words seem to say so little,"
"I hope they help in some small way"
"to ease the sense of loss"
"that you're experiencing today."

Hold fast to your memories,
to all of the cherished moments
of the past,
to the blessings and the laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrow and the tears.
They all add up to a treasure
of fond yesterdays
that you shared and spent together,
and they keep the one you loved
close to you in spirit and thought.

The special moments
and memories in your life
will never change.
They will always be in your heart,
today and forevermore.

In Loving Memory of Little White Girl

My Rainbow
by Max The Poet ©2000

A colorful rainbow,
I have found,
Each and every time,
That you are around.

The rainbow is brilliant,
To describe it, I can't begin,
Every color of life,
Is contained therein.

My rainbow, is you,
You are the colors that I see,
Nothing can be compared to you,
At least, not to me.

A sign of God's great love,
Is the rainbow that I see,
Each time I look at you,
You are, reminding me.

Colorful in every way,
Are you, my special friend,
I had to tell you this, today,
My love for you, will never end.

I hope I have stated your beauty well,
And that you will come to know,
That forever till the end of time,
I'll love you, my rainbow.

a personal note from Lynn Siegel...
Heartfelt sympathy in the passing of Little White Girl to the Rainbow Bridge.

Kat & Tommy my heart goes out to you. I guess there are times when prayers are just not enough to keep someone here when they are wanted by God.

I know she left wonderful memories for you to cherish forever and in time they will fill in the hole in your heart.

Sincerely,
Lynn

Kat, I'm so sorry Little White Girl had to leave so soon. She sounded like a very special girl. I'm sure Valentine and Chelsea would love to show her around, they always did love the sweet ones. I know you've lost a large piece of your heart, but don't worry, you'll get it back, and it's in good paws. Try to remember the good times, the awwww's,the laughter, the delight and the love you shared with a smile.

For Little White Girl-

Stars twinkle above.
Little White Girl is there too,
Shining bright with love.

May she dance forever in your heart.

We Have A Secret
(Author Unknown)

We have a secret, you and I
that no one else shall know
for who but I can see you lie
each night in fire glow?
And who but I can reach my hand
before we go to bed
and feel the living warmth of you
and touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths
and see ahead of me
your small form racing with the wind
so young again, and free.
And only I can see you swim
in every brook I pass...
and when I call no one but I
can see the bending grass.

Littlest Angel Of Mine
(Terri Onorato)

I was adrift on waves of feelings
swirling circles about my mind
wondering if I had the strength
to decide it was your time.
Did I have the right to make this choice
that would change our lives forever,
did I have the will to sacrifice
our precious time together?
Was I wrong in thinking of myself
while you grew so frail and weak,
was I selfish in my desperate need
to have you here with me to keep?
Into your bright green eyes I searched
and found within your soul,
the echo of a far-seen wisdom,
the kind which only angels know.
You gently rocked my broken heart
and with angelic calm
you lifted all the guilt I felt
for wanting to hold on.
You showed me that the choice with which
I felt so wrecked and torn
lay upon a path God paved
the day that you were born.
Somehow you made me understand
the choice was never mine,
it had been appointed long before,
in another place and time.
So as I lay you down to sleep
your eternal spirit shines
and our paths will cross again someday
littlest angel of mine.
